Christa’s therapeutic approach is eclectic, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. LGBTQ+ affirming mental health counselling is a central part of her work. She integrates a wide range of counselling modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), solution-focused therapy, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, feminist theory, and strength-based perspectives. Christa advocates for a holistic approach to mental wellness, supporting the whole person and recognizing the deep connection between mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual well-being.
