Meet Christa
Over the course of her career as a psychologist, Christa has gained extensive experience in a variety of clinical and community settings across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Her professional journey began in Calgary at the Society for Treatment of Autism, a residential treatment center dedicated to supporting autistic children and youth.
After earning her Master’s degree from the University of Saskatchewan, Christa joined a non-profit agency in Saskatoon, where she provided counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, while also facilitating psychoeducational groups. Some of her most meaningful work involved leading groups such as Separation/Divorce Support for Children and Youth, Children Exposed to Violence, Chill Skills (an anger management program for children), and Women and Self-Image.
Christa later transitioned to Mental Health Services (Child & Youth) in Alberta and subsequently joined the Mental Health Youth Team in Saskatoon (Saskatoon Health Region). Before entering private practice, she worked at the University of Saskatchewan, offering therapy and psychoeducation to university students.
After 12 successful years in private practice at Crossroads Therapeutic Solutions, Christa felt the time was right to launch her own independent practice, continuing her commitment to accessible, compassionate, and evidence-based mental health care.
